This Privacy Policy explains how LocalScore (package name: com.localscore.app) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the LocalScore Android app.

LocalScore is a local sports scoreboard app for creating and managing matches, teams, players, tournaments, and live score updates on your device.

1. Summary

Data you enter Match details, team names, player names, tournaments, and score information are stored locally in the app.

Internet access The app uses internet connectivity primarily for advertising services provided by Google AdMob.

Ads Banner and interstitial ads may be shown in the app. Google may collect data under its own privacy terms.

No account required The app does not currently require account registration or login to use core features.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you use LocalScore, you may enter information such as:

team names
player names
match settings and match formats
live scores and scoring events
tournament names and related tournament data

Information stored automatically on your device

The app may store limited local app state, including:

active or unfinished match information for resume/continue features
UI preferences such as first-time tips or tutorial dismissal state
local database entries for teams, players, matches, stats, and tournaments

Advertising-related data

LocalScore uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial ads. Google and its partners may collect certain device, network, and usage information in connection with ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization, depending on your device settings and Google policies.

3. How We Use Information

We use information processed by the app to:

create and display sports scoreboards
save teams, players, tournaments, and match history locally on your device
restore unfinished matches and improve app usability
display ads and support the app through advertising
maintain app stability, performance, and fraud prevention through third-party ad services

4. Local Storage and Retention

LocalScore stores most app content locally on your device using on-device storage and a local database. This includes match history, score details, teams, players, and tournament information that you create in the app.

This information is generally kept until you remove it inside the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Depending on your Android device settings, some app data may also be included in system backup or device transfer features.

5. Permissions Used by the App

LocalScore currently uses the following Android permissions:

INTERNET – to load ads and related network content
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – to check network availability for ad loading and related services

The app does not currently request permissions for contacts, microphone, camera, or location based on the current project configuration.

6. Third-Party Services

LocalScore currently uses Google AdMob for advertising.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies before using the app.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not provide an in-app account system or a built-in cloud sync service in the current app version. Most scoreboard content you create remains on your device by default.

However, information may be processed by third parties where necessary to provide advertising and related technical services, such as Google AdMob.

8. Children’s Privacy

LocalScore is not specifically directed to children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe personal information from a child has been provided through the app or associated services, you should remove local app data and contact the app publisher through the repository or app listing where the app is distributed.

9. Your Choices

You can delete locally stored app data by clearing app storage in Android settings.
You can uninstall the app at any time.
You can review or manage certain ad settings through your Google account and device settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app changes, legal updates, or service changes. If we make material updates, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
